I’m on the road returning home today, but I have prepared extensive review coverage of the new Zeiss Loxia 21mm f/2.8 Distagon, for Sony Mirrorless. So far there are a variety of night shots as well as some field shots. Also, MTF, vignetting, distortion, etc.
Much more to follow this week as I will be home later today.
The Loxia 21/2.8 makes a trio out of the Loxia lineup, which includes the existing 50mm f/2 Planar and 35mm f/2 Biogon.
The Loxia 21/2.8 is an all-new design optimized for mirrorless, a Distagon optical design which is ray angle friendly for a digital sensor; it is not a derivative of the Zeiss ZM 21mm f/2.8 Biogon, whose ray angle is too extreme to be suitable for full-frame digital.
Pre-order the Zeiss Loxia 21mm f/2.8 now as it will be in high demand.
